04.11.11 birthday gift

SEW...a needle pulling thread ... & KNIT..... a little bit more complicated

so.. after wrongly bought 2 knitting needles ... which i have no idea that it comes in various sizes ... i finally bought the correct one... i mean the one that can be used with my knitting yarn ....
i tried knitting with the help of a Chinese sewing book (cheaper even though i can't read it) ... i did learn to knit (just the really basic one) from my aunt,long time ago ....
so here i am hoping to at least knit something ( which i don't think i can make it with just a help of a book that i can't read) ....

 

so back to the sewing box, KNOT (the name for my knitting set) ... we'll meet again after i find myself a good teacher ... 

p/s : wonder how the ladies out there do their knitting , i have sore thumbs just knitting in half an hour ...bravo ladies ... no wonder knitted wear and stuff are expensive ..... 

handmade birthday gift to all

started making my sis's birthday present ....i have 2 days to finish , well, actually i'm almost done.... can't wait to see what it's gonna look like .... (not as planned that's for sure) ..... oops forgot to tell i'm making her a handmade tote, that's my original intention but now, half way done , i'm thinking whether to finish it as a bag or a file pouch ..... i'll sleep and think about it tomorrow morning ...... guess, it's bedtime ..nitey nite lulu & colour .....muahhh...

p/s: to my family and friends, it's gonna be a handmade birthday gift from me starting this year as im still unemployed....

i'm smiling knowing my dad chose and will choose everything in green for his bathroom :) it's quite funny for me... .... being him and being a dad, suddenly after staying home for a while (retired) he cares about his bathroom's color ..cute, rite...that's my dad ...papa i love you, i wish to get a soul mate just like you (i wish....)
